GRAMMY award-winning mixing and mastering engineer
Emily Lazar and the nonprofit she founded, We Are Moving The Needle.
Their work directly responds to 2021 data that uncovered that
only 2% of today’s producers and audio engineers are women.
With inclusion at the top of the priority list, We Are Moving
The Needle is working to close the gap in representation and
bring equity to the recording industry. The future of music,
the industry, and its artists is always in motion. Thanks to
artists and activists like Emily, that motion is forward.
